Nestled on a quaint side street in downtown Morro Bay, CA, Life on Love Street is more than a shop; it’s an experience.

In late ’23, I, Marcia Beck (Hi, Nice to meetcha!) the Owner and CD, created this eclectic boutique and photography studio. The vibe is one large wink to The Doors song, Love Street…’where the creatures meet.’ My vision is to welcome all to ‘linger long’. Interested in the full back story? click here.

Life on Love St. offers a unique blend of new and vintage furniture, unusual books and ephemera, home decor, and housewares alongside hand-sourced, gently worn clothing for those craving one-of-a-kind finds. Each piece I find and stock embodies the vibe of Love St., inspired by the independent spirit of the bygone eras, especially the creative explosion happening between 1960 and 1990, the rebellious energy of punk rock, and the free-spirited aesthetic of bohemian living.

The equal half of this creative haven is Love Street Pictures, the in-house photo studio specializing in vintage-inspired portraits. Whether you’re channeling  the natural, laid-back vibe of a 70s playmate boudoir shoot or want to capture the unique bonds of your crew with a cheeky group photo, Love St. Pictures transforms each session into an other-worldly experience. With rich sumptuous sets, vintage wardrobes, and my artistic direction, every photograph captures the heart of the golden days of California's counterculture.
